You Were Not Meant to Carry It Alone | Burnout and Community (Part 3)
Burnout does not develop in isolation, and it is not resolved in isolation. In this episode, we examine the social and spiritual dimensions of burnout, focusing on how relational environments, unspoken expectations, and isolation deepen exhaustion.
Part 3 of this series explores why burned-out individuals often withdraw, how loneliness intensifies emotional and spiritual strain, and why burnout becomes self-reinforcing when responsibility is carried privately. Drawing from psychological research and Scripture, we address common spiritual misinterpretations that frame burnout as weak faith and examine the experience of feeling distant from God during prolonged exhaustion.
Healing is not found through pressure, performance, or heroic endurance. It begins when burdens are shared, limits are honored, and communities accompany the exhausted with presence and care.
